How We Produce Content
Every article, review, and brand evaluation follows the same process: independent research, cited sources, human review, and a firewall between editorial and affiliate decisions.
Trust is earned through consistency. These standards describe how every piece of content on Prestige World Wardrobe is researched, written, reviewed, and published. They apply to brand evaluations, fit guides, educational articles, and everything in between.
Independent Research
Every brand evaluation begins with independent research. We do not accept payment for reviews. We do not publish sponsored content. Brands cannot pay to be listed, scored, or recommended. Our research is driven by what consumers need to know, not what brands want said.
Sources and Citations
When we cite a fact — a carbon footprint figure, a labor statistic, a fiber composition — we link to the original source. When a source is a brand's own published data, we say so. When a source is a third-party report, we link to it. Readers should be able to verify what we claim.
Corrections When Errors Are Found
Mistakes happen. When we discover a factual error, we correct it promptly and document the correction publicly. We do not silently edit away our mistakes. Our Corrections Policy page explains how this works in practice.
AI-Assisted Drafting with Human Review
We use AI tools to assist with drafting, editing, and organizing content. No article is published without human review. A person verifies facts, checks sources, and takes editorial responsibility for everything that appears on this site. AI is a tool; editorial judgment remains human.
Affiliate Relationships Never Determine Ratings
Prestige World Wardrobe earns commissions through affiliate links. This is how we fund our work. But affiliate status has zero influence on brand scores, rankings, or recommendations. Brands are evaluated before any affiliate relationship is pursued. A brand with no affiliate program can receive the same score as one we partner with. The scoring methodology is published and applied consistently regardless of commercial relationships.
Continuous Improvement
These standards are not static. As we learn more, receive feedback, and identify gaps in our process, we update our standards and document what changed. Transparency means showing the work, including the revisions.
Editorial Independence
No brand can pay to influence a score, a review, or a recommendation. Affiliate revenue funds our research; it does not dictate its conclusions.
